Chandeliers.

I've always dreamt about having chandeliers in my future home. They wouldn't be the kind of chandeliers reserved for fancy dinner parties and foyers, but instead they would just hang out, in my house, every day. I would live my life day in and day out and they would exist alongside with me. Morning coffee, lunchtime sandwiches, the coziest of dinners. Someday i will have my chandelier, in the meantime i will just drool over these. Two of them are shaped like sea creatures, the last one is just pure outrageous. Enjoy.
Ramblings.

Today i basically finished my work. No one else is done yet, which means i get to sit around a lot with people who are still stressed out about finishing the long papers we have to write at the end of term. So, while i sit in my room and they read War and Peace, and fiction stories by their classmates, i look at things like how to make ice cubes with roses in them. Seriously though, D has read thousands of pages of War and Peace and all i can do is look at blogs. My brain is fried, i need to do something really tedious and crafty. Maybe i'll make a summer duvet cover. Hmmmmmm. Who knows where this boredom might lead. For now, i'll sit and muse over useless things that pop up on blogs.
Our President.

The White House has a flickr and i would highly suggest looking at it. It kept me amused for far too long. We have a hip president. Take a peek.

If Only.

If you have an extra $3000 laying around you should probably buy these. If you want all three you will need to have about $10,000. If i had them i would fill them with all different kinds of candy and leave them out on my beautiful nonexistent coffee table. I wonder what kinds of people buy them. I would love to know, just to satisfy my curiosity. Let me know if you find them. Thanks.
Photobooths.

Is there anyone that exists on this planet that doesn't like photobooths? Is it something you can hate? I really love them, and seem to be on the never ending quest to hunt them down everywhere i go. I've found one trusty one in the city, once upon a time i hunted one down with a penpal in Boston and I've definitely gone to shady parts of Chicago to find one in a bowling alley. Union Pool is my go-to place in the city, not only is it a great bar with an outside area that has an old school food truck that will serve you gross things (in a delicious way) when you've gotten drunk, but it has a black and white photobooth that delivers every time. If you haven't already discovered this site, you should bookmark it. It will help you on your quest to find your friendly neighborhood photobooth. There's nothing like a little instant gratification.

Summer? Where are you?

Sometimes it seems like the weather gods really like to mess with people a little too much in the early spring. WHY weather gods, why!? It was beautiful this weekend and now it's damp and cold and grey. I was getting really into the idea of going on a lot of picnics after i went on my first one this weekend at Sheep's Meadow in Central Park. So, in the spirit of picnics and sunshine here are some dresses that make me want to have a summer filled with garden parties and picnics. I'm ready. Really ready.
P.S. I will fight you weather gods, watch out.
P.P.S. Both dresses are from French Connection.
