All Good Things.

Bob Willoughby turned 80 years old last year, and decided that it was about time for him to release many of his prints that had never been showcased by galleries. So, as we do these days, he put them up on a flickr account. I really like this picture of Audrey Hepburn he posted. Somehow it feels like we're looking through a keyhole into her world, and her world is so bizarre and beautiful. Of course Audrey Hepburn's life includes calmly feeding baby deer and huge bouquets of flowers.

Diamonds?

I freaked out when i first saw these rings, because i thought - oh shit! the perfect diamond ring, not too perfect and a little beat up. But alas, they are not diamonds at all, they're just herkeimers, and severely flawed and flecked ones at that. They're only $100 a pop, maybe you can fool someone if you try hard enough, or just wear it because it's pretty. Either way...

Chandeliers.

I've always dreamt about having chandeliers in my future home. They wouldn't be the kind of chandeliers reserved for fancy dinner parties and foyers, but instead they would just hang out, in my house, every day. I would live my life day in and day out and they would exist alongside with me. Morning coffee, lunchtime sandwiches, the coziest of dinners. Someday i will have my chandelier, in the meantime i will just drool over these. Two of them are shaped like sea creatures, the last one is just pure outrageous. Enjoy.

If Only.

If you have an extra $3000 laying around you should probably buy these. If you want all three you will need to have about $10,000. If i had them i would fill them with all different kinds of candy and leave them out on my beautiful nonexistent coffee table. I wonder what kinds of people buy them. I would love to know, just to satisfy my curiosity. Let me know if you find them. Thanks.

Summer? Where are you?

Sometimes it seems like the weather gods really like to mess with people a little too much in the early spring. WHY weather gods, why!? It was beautiful this weekend and now it's damp and cold and grey. I was getting really into the idea of going on a lot of picnics after i went on my first one this weekend at Sheep's Meadow in Central Park. So, in the spirit of picnics and sunshine here are some dresses that make me want to have a summer filled with garden parties and picnics. I'm ready. Really ready.

P.S. I will fight you weather gods, watch out.
P.P.S. Both dresses are from French Connection.

Watch Lust, Pt. II.

I forever and always have watch lust. I love watches, and just haven't found the perfect one yet. Well, perhaps i've found some perfect ones, but they're a few thousand dollars over budget. Here's yet another wonderful watch from A. Lange & Sohne. They've stayed classic through the years.

Cloak + Dagger.

Cloak and Dagger's new line is about to be debuted at St. Louis Fashion Week (I didn't even know St. Louis had a fashion week). The line looks as though it was designed with a modern day Great Gatsby-esque lifestyle in mind. I wish it would all magically transport itself to my closet... and then my life would magically transform into something where i could dress like that 24/7. I guess a girl can only hope.
