Dream Bike, Pt. II.

Yet another installment of "gimme that bike". Sometimes i think about how the perfect bike in the perfect neighborhood in the city could make everything feel one hundred times better than it does right now. This bike seems like the closest thing i've found to my dream bike. If only it had a basket.

Photobooths.

Is there anyone that exists on this planet that doesn't like photobooths? Is it something you can hate? I really love them, and seem to be on the never ending quest to hunt them down everywhere i go. I've found one trusty one in the city, once upon a time i hunted one down with a penpal in Boston and I've definitely gone to shady parts of Chicago to find one in a bowling alley. Union Pool is my go-to place in the city, not only is it a great bar with an outside area that has an old school food truck that will serve you gross things (in a delicious way) when you've gotten drunk, but it has a black and white photobooth that delivers every time. If you haven't already discovered this site, you should bookmark it. It will help you on your quest to find your friendly neighborhood photobooth. There's nothing like a little instant gratification.

The Pressing of Letters.

As of late i have discovered (along with the help of my good friend Sami) the joys of letterpressing. As some of you might already know, i have an immense love of all things paper. To-do lists, stationary, books, really the list goes on and on. So, when i discovered that our school had a letterpress and pretty unlimited supplies i was pretty overjoyed. The outcome has exceeded expectations and i hope that it will only get better.

Life Is Snowy.

I like being in a place where it is absolutely necessary to wear a parka that is rated to -40 degrees. Vermont is a winter wonderland, rolling hills abundantly covered in snow and trees that audibly creak in the gusty winds. A place where you have to actively seek out the company of others, and where you find yourself amidst the aisles of a general store. Within arms reach you can stock up on delicious beer, plaid flannel in every color imaginable, hammers & super glue, board games, and every variety of cookie imaginable, charging your findings to the family account; a place where people still trust other people because most likely you know everyone in town. Life is in the details.
