Bond, James Bond.

James Bond is one of my long time loves, thanks to growing up with a boxed set that i used to watch on repeat with my dad. Instead of girly movies it was always James Bond and Speed Racer marathons for us. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Bond, and conveniently that means lots of amazing events surrounding the films. MoMa is doing a film series, and i honestly can't wait.

Jane Eyre.

As someone who just got over the wonderful series that was Downton Abbey, it doesn't need to be said that i'm a sucker for period dramas. And that addiction coupled with my love of Jane Eyre makes me insanely excited about this new film. I've been lucky enough to meet the director a few times, and the fact that he is totally hilarious and charming doesn't hurt me wanting to see this either. The countdown begins!

Where's My Time Machine?

Lots of the time i wish that i had a time machine. The reasons vary, but today it's because i want to go back to the era where drive-in movies still existed. When you could sit in your car with a speaker box positioned so you could hear exactly what was going on. Everyone encapsulated in their little worlds observing the same thing straight ahead. Time did a 75 Years of Drive-ins article and it really truly made me want to go find one of the 400 drive-ins that are still around in the US. Road trip theme anyone?
