Today i made cranberry sauce from scratch. It's probably easier than you think. Last thanksgiving certain members of my family complained about the 'fancy' cranberry sauce i made, which had whole cranberries in it, and bits of orange peel, so this year i strained it all in the attempt to trick them into thinking it's the kind you buy that comes in a can. I guess the shape will give me away once it's out of the mold. I also made gingersnaps and mini pecan pies, because really, do you want a whole slice of super rich and caramely pecan pie? Perhaps, but this way you'll feel better about yourself.
